Gian Luca Pulvirenti

Gian Luca Pulvirenti has been Executive Chairman of Mondadori Education S.p.A.  He is currently also Executive Chairman of Rizzoli Education S.p.A. and Chairman of D Scuola S.p.A.

Born in Biella in 1965, Mr. Pulvirenti earned a degree in economics and business and then started his professional career in the consulting field in 1991 with the Galgano-Summit group, taking part in reorganization projects in various business areas. From 1994 to 2000, he worked in the Magazines segment of the Rizzoli-Corriere della Sera group, initially in the marketing department and, from 1998, as head of a business unit and as chief operating officer of the RCS-IHT joint venture. In 2000, he joined the De Agostini Group, holding the position until December 2021 of Managing Director of various publishing companies operating in the Internet, professional, major works, books, cartography and education fields. From December 2021, he was appointed Managing Director of the Education area of  the Mondadori Group. 

Since 2004, he has been a member of the steering committee of the Industrialists’ Union of Turin.
